Another big change in the appearance of the new Pokémon cards is the replacement of the set of symbols by a special code ( SV1, and that stat for Scarlet & Violet set 1 ) in this way you as a collector can see even faster which set your hearing cards.

SILVER BORDER AROUND THE POKÉMON CARDS​

The biggest change that will take place is the replacement of the old yellow border around the Pokemon cards, the English version of the cards will finally switch to the silver border around the pokemon card. This is the first time since its release in 1999 that English-language cards have these beautiful silver borders.

MORE RARE CARDS IN BOOSTER PACKS

Booster packs will also change from scarlet&Violet, instead of 1 or 2 rare cards per pack, from the base set Scarlet & Violet there will always be 3 holo cards in a booster pack.
